Terms of Service
Last updated 27 July 2026
These terms cover what MRNdigital builds for you, what the monthly plan includes, who owns what, and how either of us can end the arrangement. Plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask before you agree to it.
1. Who you are contracting with
MRNdigital is operated by Imran Khalid as a sole proprietor, registered with SSM as MRNDIGITAL SOLUTIONS (business registration no. AS0518976-W). Contact: imran.khalid@mrn.digital, +60 11-1174 6416.
"We" and "us" means MRNdigital. "You" means the clinic or business engaging us.
2. The free demo
We may build you a demo website at no cost and with no obligation on either side. There is no fee, no invoice, and no commitment created by us building it or by you looking at it.
- The demo is built at our discretion and at our own expense.
- You are free to decline it. You owe nothing.
- We may show the demo in our own portfolio and marketing. If you would rather we did not, tell us in writing and we will remove it.
- A demo is a one page site. Multi-page work is the Custom Build Package, covered in section 5.
3. The monthly plan
RM200 per month, starting only once your site is live and you have confirmed you want to keep it.
What it covers
- Hosting, SSL certificate and uptime monitoring
- Your domain registration and renewal
- Small updates: text changes, price changes, photo swaps, opening hours, staff changes
- A monthly report, plus one improvement to the page that needs it most, based on real search data
- Your Google Business Profile linked and kept in sync with the site
- Update requests handled by us, normally within 48 hours
What is quoted separately
A small update is one that takes under 30 minutes. Anything larger is quoted before it is done, and you approve the quote before we start. Examples of quoted work: new pages or sections, a booking system, a new photo shoot, a redesign, Google Ads management, SEO articles.
We will never do quoted work and then invoice you for it as a surprise. No quote, no charge.
4. Who owns what
This is the section most clients want in writing, so it is deliberately specific.
Always yours, in every case
- Your domain. Registered in your clinic's name from day one, not ours. If you leave, it stays yours and you can point it anywhere.
- Your content. Your clinic name, logo, brand, photographs, treatment list, prices and any text you supplied.
- Your Google Business Profile. It is your listing. We work inside it with your permission and that permission can be withdrawn at any time.
On the free build
The website itself, meaning the design, code and build we produced at our own cost, remains ours and is licensed to you for as long as you are on the monthly plan. If the plan ends, the site is taken offline. We will release your content and your domain to you on request, at no charge.
In short: nothing you gave us is ever held back, but a site we financed does not transfer unless it has been paid for.
Buying out the free build
If you want to own the one page site as it stands, without moving up to a multi-page build, you can buy it outright for RM1,200 one-time. On payment the site becomes yours and we hand over the files.
- Hosting then becomes your responsibility. If you would rather we kept hosting and maintaining it, that continues on the normal RM200 monthly plan.
- The buyout covers the site as built. New pages or sections after that are quoted separately.
- If you later take the Custom Build Package, the RM1,200 is credited against it, so nobody pays twice for the same work.
On a paid build
Once a Custom Build Package or Growth build is paid in full, the completed website is yours. If you later cancel, we hand over an export of the site files that you can host anywhere you like, at no charge. Ownership transfers on final payment, not before.
5. Paid builds
The Custom Build Package is RM2,000 one-time. Growth is RM2,500 one-time and includes Google Business Profile setup and the review system. Both continue on a monthly plan, RM200 for Custom Build and RM349 for Growth. You receive an itemised quote before paying anything.
Paying in instalments
A build fee can be split into four monthly payments. Work is delivered in milestones as payments are made, and each milestone goes live on your site as it is completed. You are not made to wait until the end to see or use the work.
| Payment | What goes live |
|---|---|
| 1 | Research, site structure, first 2 treatment pages written and live |
| 2 | Next 3 treatment pages plus full pricing tables |
| 3 | Remaining pages, treatment process gallery, on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, local schema) |
| 4 | Both rounds of revisions, final checks, ownership transfer and file handover |
If instalments stop, work stops at the last completed milestone, never part way through a page. Everything already delivered stays live on your site under the normal monthly plan. Ownership transfers only after the final instalment. Refund terms are in the Refund Policy.
6. What we need from you
We can only build an accurate site with accurate information. You agree to provide:
- Real photographs of your premises, equipment and team, with the consent of anyone shown
- Correct treatment names, prices, opening hours and contact details
- Confirmation that practitioner names, qualifications and registration details are correct
- Approval of the copy before it goes live
You confirm that any material you send us is yours to use and does not infringe anyone else's rights. Delays in supplying content will delay the build, and we will say so rather than guess and fill gaps with invented information.
7. Advertising and content compliance
Healthcare advertising in Malaysia is regulated, principally by the Medicine (Advertisement and Sale) Act 1956 and Medicine Advertisements Board guidelines, and by the Malaysian Dental Council Code of Professional Conduct for dental practitioners.
- We write your content with those guidelines in mind. We avoid superlatives, guaranteed outcomes, treatment-result testimonials, before and after patient photographs, competitor comparisons and free-treatment offers.
- We do not use AI-generated images of patients, staff or premises presented as real.
- We do not claim that any content is "KKLIU-approved" or "KKLIU-compliant". That describes only an advertisement carrying an actual approval number. What we produce is written to be aware of those guidelines.
- You are the advertiser. Responsibility for what is published about your clinic, and for any regulatory approval it requires, rests with you and your registered practitioners.
- If you instruct us to publish something we believe breaches these guidelines, we will tell you in writing. If you still want it published, we may decline to build it.
We are not lawyers and nothing here is legal advice.
8. Payment
- The monthly fee is invoiced monthly in advance.
- Build fees are invoiced as agreed in your quote, in full or in four instalments.
- If payment is more than 14 days late we will contact you. If it reaches 30 days late we may suspend the site until the account is settled. We will always warn you before anything goes offline.
- Your domain will not be allowed to lapse because of a payment dispute. It is registered in your name and stays that way.
9. Cancellation
- Either side can end the monthly plan with 30 days' written notice, by email or WhatsApp.
- There is no minimum term and no lock-in contract.
- The final month is served out and is not refunded, except under the first-month guarantee in the Refund Policy.
- On the last day: your domain and content are released to you, we remove our access to your Google Business Profile, and a free-build site is taken offline. A paid build is handed over as files.
We may end the arrangement ourselves if fees go unpaid, or if we are asked to publish content we consider unlawful or misleading. We would rather talk it through first.
10. Availability
We aim to keep your site online continuously and we monitor it, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Hosting, domain registries and Google are third parties whose outages are outside our control. Where an outage is ours to fix, we fix it as a priority.
11. Liability
We are responsible for doing our work with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses, lost patients, lost revenue or lost profits arising from the website or from search engine ranking changes. Our total liability in any 12 month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
We do not guarantee search engine rankings, traffic volumes or patient numbers. Anyone who does is guessing. We commit to the work, not to Google's results.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with the date at the top. Existing clients will be told directly about any change that affects them, at least 30 days before it takes effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. If a dispute comes up, we will try to sort it out directly first.
